The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, demons, and malevolent powers growing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for the third episode of the new season lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The latest chapter concluded with a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to begin their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group features Teor (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might look out of place, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

First, the team understands precisely where to go next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing started the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his selfish purposes, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd close behind.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, desires revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • The strong character and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their status as key figures in the influential clan could enable the team enter locations they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, Teor swore a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against the powerful family and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This means them little choice but to travel to the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From the recent installment’s Cooldown, we discover that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Questers and Schemers groups.

Fans can expect finding out which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
